Dear Monroe Families,
I just wanted to thank all of our Monroe families for sharing your children with us this school year. As a school we are blessed to have so many involved parents, grandparents, aunts, and uncles that support our efforts to impact your kid’s lives. We had a fantastic school year, and our students made huge gains both academically, as well as socially. The end of the year is always tough as we develop close relationships, but we are also excited to see the students look forward to next year with excitement. None of their success would be possible without the year long support of their families. For that, we say Thank You! I wish all of you a wonderful and safe summer!

As I sit here on the last Sunday before the end of a wonderful year, I can’t help but be overwhelmed with emotion. Monroe has been my second home, my family and a place I love with all my heart . I found life long friendships, have seen amazing people do amazing things , been inspired , cried , belly laughed , prayed. I know every family and every child and have loved creating those connections and watching your children grow. I have had a million hugs, high fives and love to last a lifetime. Thank you for sharing your stories with me , letting me love your kids and trusting me to be your secretary. I am not sure what the future holds for me , and leaving Monroe will be one of the hardest times I have faced because those halls are filled with so much happiness and joy. Next year will be different but I am confident because of all of you Monroe will continue to be the special place it has always been .. welcoming and kind. It has been a privilege serving our community, families, children and staff. I am grateful for the years I did have and will miss you all very much. Let’s make the next few days the BEST ♥️ .. one of my last updates here ... see you around xo

Some of the Monroe staff went to Houdini’s Room Escape today and successfully got out of our room with 4 minutes remaining. Great Job! So many brilliant people!!!
