This week, our summer campers went to a field trip to the Trailside Nature Center at the Watchung Reservation. They learned about local flora, fauna and migratory birds! Then they went on the sensory walk and had fun at the playground.

We're excited to invite you to Sproutlings’ Family Fun Day on Saturday, September 12th from 10:30 AM to 1 PM! We will have fun activities for the kids, refreshments for the whole family, and a chance to connect with our teachers and fellow families, old and new. We can’t wait to celebrate with you! We had some JURASSIC visitors from the past when Dinosaurs Arise stomped into Sproutlings! Everyone came out to see the dinos from the babies to our summer campers and even our friends from Summit Speech School!

The children enjoyed digging for fossils, feeding and riding baby triceratops, and petting all kinds of dinosaurs! 🦕 🦖

Our summer campers had an amazing time exploring the Morris Museum! 🦖

They learned about dinosaurs and discovered the differences in teeth between carnivores and herbivores and made a fun dinosaur craft called “The Chomper”. The campers also enjoyed checking out the awesome model train exhibit.

The best part? The kids said this was one of their favorite trips so far!

Here's what we've been up to at Sproutlings over the last couple of weeks!

Our Peapods enjoyed water play, our Seedlings decorated beach balls, our Little Sprouts learned about ocean life, our Beanstalks studied zoo animals, our Saplings practiced "fishing" to catch colorful fish, our PreK3 class painted ocean animals, our PreK4 class worked on their writing skills, and our Summer Camp took a trip to the arboretum.

Adventure is in full bloom! Today our Summer Campers explored the beauty of the Reeves-Reed Arboretum, taking a stroll through the wonders of nature. 🌳🌲🌸
