As we welcomed the new semester and a new Fall Season (the season of giving), we hosted a Pack the Pantry Food Drive! The Bobcat Community came through with donating dozens and dozens of non-perishable food and personal hygiene items for students or anyone in our community in need. We received so many donations, that we were able to start a small pantry at our Instructional Performing Arts Center (IPAC) for those students and community! A HUGE thank you to our college community, our amazing Student Experience team, and our chapter members and reps for putting this together! Our hearts are full of Bobcat Pride!

This semester's service project was a Present-A-Plushie 🧸, where the college community came together to collect and donate stuffed animals for our first responders and other responding agencies. During this service project, we collected 524 stuffed animals! A huge thank you to the Pasco-Hernando State College Campus community for donating so many adorable little friends. All of the donations have made it to lovely homes with some of our first responders including, Pasco Sheriff's Office, Hernando County Sheriff's Office, and Dade City Police! Please take a look at the amazing collection the campus community collected.

During our Spirit Week, there was a heated competition going on!
PHSC staff members donated to the chapter to enter in a Door Decorating Contest, and let me tell you, the door/office designs were fantastic! While we had 9 entries and over 20 votes, we landed on two outstanding winners for our Stand Out Style and Vibe Champion!

The Stand Out Style award went to Kelly Arias from Advising. Her door was titled PHSC is the Best Place to "Bee"!
The Vibe Champion award went to Wanda Lawson from HR. Her door was titled HR is PAWS-itively Here to Help!
Check out the winners and their doors below.

Thank you to everyone who participated in this fun and friendly competition. We appreciate all the members that voted as well!

The last day of Spirit Week had us floating like soda bubbles!

Float Friday or "Float Into The Weekend" was a real treat with home made soda floats! From root b**r, to grape and orange soda, there were a ton to choose from. Some even added whipped cream and sprinkles to top it all off! This was such a fun fundraising event, and we appreciate all the members and the campus community who came out to support their local Association of Florida Colleges Chapter! Now if you'll excuse me, I have a soda float calling my name!!
