This week at Leading By Example Childcare, our little pirates will set sail on an exciting adventure filled with treasure hunts, pirate crafts, ocean exploration, obstacle courses, and hands-on learning activities!Did you know? Pirates used maps, symbols, and problem-solving skills to find treasure. Throughout the week, the children will practice counting, matching, teamwork, following directions, creativity, and gross motor skills while having tons of pirate-themed fun.
Friendly Reminder:
Friday will be our Pirate Treasure Celebration Day, and we will be having a special Pirate Pizza Lunch! Please send $4.00 by Friday if your child would like to participate in the pizza lunch.

To wrap up our exciting Pokémon Week, we had a special visit from Kona Ice, and the children absolutely loved it! With the Florida heat in full swing, it was the perfect way to cool down and celebrate a week filled with learning, creativity, games, and summer fun.Throughout the week, our little trainers enjoyed Pokémon-themed activities, crafts, sensory play, trading cards, and so many opportunities to build friendships and make memories. Seeing their smiles as they enjoyed their Kona Ice treats was the perfect ending to an amazing week!Thank you to all of our wonderful families for your continued support. We love creating fun experiences that help children learn, laugh, and enjoy their summer break with friends.

The children had a fun week with our Pokémon theme.

Art- painting. Free play.
Through painting, the children explored colors, creativity, and self-expression. Painting helps strengthen fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and pencil-grip development while encouraging imagination and decision-making.Free Play:
During free play, the children practiced important social and emotional skills such as sharing, taking turns, problem-solving, and communicating with their friends. Free play also encourages independence, creativity, and confidence as children explore their interests and learn through hands-on experiences.
We had a wonderful day learning, creating, and having fun together!

Pokémon Summer Week Fun at Leading By Example Childcare!
Our trainers have been having an amazing week of learning and fun during Pokémon Week!
Pokémon Egg Creations
The children used their creativity and fine motor skills to decorate eggs and transform them into their favorite Pokémon characters. This activity encouraged imagination, artistic expression, and hand-eye coordination.
Pokémon Slime Lab
Today, our young trainers had Pokémon slime! This sensory activity helped children explore textures.Pokémon Trainer Snack
We enjoyed a special Pokémon-themed snack made with Goldfish crackers and M&M’s. Snack activities help children practice following directions, sorting, counting, and socializing with friends.Coming Thursday: Pokémon Card Trading Day!
Children will have the opportunity to trade Pokémon cards with friends while practicing sharing, taking turns, communication skills, and making thoughtful choices.Kona Ice Reminder!
