Helping people change their mindsets and overcome their limitations to live their destiny day by day.

02/06/2025

Are you tired of feeling like your mind is going in circles, and like no matter what you do you are still stuck? Are you afraid to make a mistake, or that you are going to fail?

We all feel this way at times, but God doesn't want us to stay in this place. He WANTS you to move forward. If we stay by His side, He promises to be by our side.

He also says, "Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light."

If you belong to Jesus, and your yoke and burden is heavy, it's not because God isn't holding his end of the bargain. It's you! That's the bad news, but it's also WONDERFUL news!

That means there is something that you can do about it, and that God is there, just waiting for you, and He will bear most of the weight!

This doesn't mean that there won't be seasons of struggle or grief, but it doesn't have to be nearly as hard as it usually is. Those of us who are Christians should know how to get it right, right?! But, unfortunately most Christians don't.

I was one of those Christians who went around and around the same mountain, and couldn't seem to gain much victory regardless of how many Christian self-help books I read. That's because I didn't know what I didn't know. Even when I read what would help me I either didn't recognize it, because I didn't know what it was supposed to look like, or because I didn't know how to get it.

This is what real live humans can help you receive. For instance, you may think you eat healthy until you spend time with someone who eats much healthier than you do, then you can see where the gap is that you need to work on.

In the group coaching NEXT WEDNESDAY, we're not likely to talk about eating healthy, but we will get to see what calm and peacefulness even in the midst of struggle and pain looks like, and how to achieve it. My desire is to provide for you what I wished I had received that would have saved me a lot of time, effort, and pain.

Will you join us? Message me, and I will give you all the details.

DO YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE IN CHRIST?

Here's a test:

How do you feel about yourself when nothing is going right, people you care about are mad at you, you've made some mistakes, and you feel like your failing?

Also, do you run to God when you feel that way, or do you feel like hiding like Adam and Eve did, or do you feel anger like Cain did? Jesus died, and took our shame. There is now therefore no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus!

Here's another test:

I was shocked when I found out that I really didn't believe these words from the song "Jesus loves me this I know, for the Bible tells me so". This photo is probably around the time I made this discovery.

All my life I really thought I believed those words. I found out that I believed in them mentally, but that I really didn't feel the love from God.

Here's a test to see if you believe them. Read these verses out loud in front of a mirror inserting your name where appropriate, and note your response to them. If you don't believe what you're reading, or it feels super cringy, you just discovered you really don't believe what they say. Here's a few:

1) I...am lavishly loved by God. (1 John 3:1)
2) I...am beloved and chosen by God. (Col. 3:12, 1 Thess. 1:4)
3) I...am completely loved by God, and he accepts me and loves me. (Ps. 139:1, Eph. 1:6)
4) I...am accepted by God just as I am. (Rom. 8:1)
5) I...am blameless and pure, a son of God without fault because of Jesus, living in a corrupt and perverted world in which I shine like a midnight star. (Phil. 2:15)

Please share with me how this experiment worked! I want to know!

A GREAT PRAYER FOR TODAY! This happened to be a Psalm I read today.

Psalms 17:1-15 NLT
[1] O Lord, hear my plea for justice. Listen to my cry for help. Pay attention to my prayer, for it comes from honest lips. [2] Declare me innocent, for you see those who do right. [3] You have tested my thoughts and examined my heart in the night. You have scrutinized me and found nothing wrong. I am determined not to sin in what I say. [4] I have followed your commands, which keep me from following cruel and evil people. [5] My steps have stayed on your path; I have not wavered from following you. [6] I am praying to you because I know you will answer, O God. Bend down and listen as I pray. [7] Show me your unfailing love in wonderful ways. By your mighty power you rescue those who seek refuge from their enemies. [8] Guard me as you would guard your own eyes. Hide me in the shadow of your wings. [9] Protect me from wicked people who attack me, from murderous enemies who surround me. [10] They are without pity. Listen to their boasting! [11] They track me down and surround me, watching for the chance to throw me to the ground. [12] They are like hungry lions, eager to tear me apart— like young lions hiding in ambush. [13] Arise, O Lord! Stand against them, and bring them to their knees! Rescue me from the wicked with your sword! [14] By the power of your hand, O Lord, destroy those who look to this world for their reward. But satisfy the hunger of your treasured ones. May their children have plenty, leaving an inheritance for their descendants. [15] Because I am righteous, I will see you. When I awake, I will see you face to face and be satisfied.

With anxiety your nervous system is often in fight or flight mode. This is a serious problem when this happens for long time, because all the energy you need in your organs is shunted to your extremities to allow you to fight or flee. Did you know that when you are anxious and your heartrate is 150-175 beats per minute that you lose your peripheral vision, depth perception, and some hearing? No wonder you have trouble thinking when you're anxious, and why you have trouble being in the present moment. You're not meant to live like this, and you don't have to. Maybe well-meaning friends have told you to just pray, and trust Jesus. Yes, but how??? That's what we'll be diving into for 10 weeks beginning October 21st. Don't miss it!

What would you gain if you exchanged your anxiety for peace?
