Mrs. Higby's Career and Personal Development class are creating blankets for Project Linus. Both classes are preparing as many blankets for children as then can before the FCCLA State Leadership Conference on April 10.

Mrs. Gaskins took over 50 students and chaperones on a 6 college tour in Idaho and Montana. Colleges and Universities visited were: Idaho State University, Pocatello Idaho; University of Montana Western, Dillon Montana; University of Montana, Missoula Montana; North Idaho College, Coeur d'Alene Idaho; University of Idaho, Moscow Idaho; Lewis Clark State College, Lewiston Idaho. We had a great group of students who represented our school!

Mrs. Gaskins recently spoke at the Idaho Technology Council Hall Of Fame. She spoke of how NPHS is readying our students to Go On to college with our Duel Credit classes. Mrs. Gaskins and our teachers work tirelessly to prepare our students for life after high school, and New Plymouth is fortunate to have such a dedicated staff!

Congratulations to Megan S, McKenzie R, Ashley P, Hannah R, and Katie N, who auditioned and were accepted into the Treasure Valley Honor Choir. It was a tough competition and they did awesome! They join existing NPHS members of the Honor Choir - Matalynn E, Hannah R, Everett E, Trent J, Seth A, Bronsen J, Nicholas T, Duncan L, and Cline Y. Awesome Pilgrim Singers!! Mrs. Beutler

The Idaho/Oregon College Fair will be held Tuesday, October 29th from 9:30-2pm at the 4 Rivers Cultural Center in Ontario. Over 50 colleges, universities, technical schools and all branches of the armed forces will be there. Mrs. Gaskins will take all interested juniors and seniors to this event. Some of the sessions will be about financial aid, searching for scholarships, and professional-technical programs.
