Redwing Blackbird, an Activist Puppet Theater on Main St In Rosendale, seeks
2 high energy interns for spring semester. 2020

Positions & opportunities include:

1. Outreach coordinator with media expertise & promo film production skills.
We welcome your dedication to creating & posting clips & announcements on whatsapp, facebook, radio & any/or other social media streams & opportunities.
We want to promote audience attendance, recruitment of new performers & name recognition in the Hudson Valley. We welcome short film clips that show exciting aspects of our giant puppetry & our activism. We want to attract new audiences for our theater performances, activist events & open workshops appealing to all ages.

2. Website designer with interest in updating & possibly overhauling this url:
redwingblackbirdtheater.com We want upcoming performances, activities & invitations to be even more attractive & accessible on our website. We plan to overhaul & add to our archives giving both access to past performances & inspiration to those seeking to plan new events.
Examples of upcoming projects to promote include:
-Sat. 3-5 open house & performances of "The Grand Theater of the World" at Redwing Blackbird Theater in Rosendale
-Feb. 8th collaboration with Good Gourd! shekere & singers at the A. J. Wiliams Myers African Roots Center in KIngston
-workshops mid-March late May, Chalda Park in the Bronx as preparation for
festival performance with Arturo O'Farrell's Afro Latin Jazz Band June 12 .
