Join us on Friday, October 23rd for an incredible opportunity to talk with Dr. Kendall Genre about Perinatal, Mood and Anxiety Disorders. This workshop will look at diagnostic criteria and symptom patterns and how these differ from non-perinatal presentations of mood and anxiety disorders.
Participants will discuss the importance of working with clients who are planning to become pregnant or who are pregnant to emphasize that mental health in pregnancy is the best predictor of post-partum outcome. The model of collaborative risk/benefit decision making will also be covered.
Throughout the day Dr. Genre will review the research and data that clients may be considering regarding medications in pregnancy, breastfeeding and post partum periods as well as an overview of the evidence based psychotherapies for treatment of PMADs.
She will also share helpful resources and allow for Q&A at the conclusion of the workshop.
This program will be LIVE Online via zoom. For more details or to register, visit
