A great day at the Tulane Research, Innovation, and Creativity Summit!

Our Executive Director, Dr. Amanda Kruger Hill, joined fellow Tulane faculty as a Thought Leader in the Lightning Talks, highlighting the work of the Cowen Institute.

She posed a powerful question: What would it take for every child in New Orleans to have an excellent education and a meaningful pathway to college and career?

It’s the question behind everything we do, and one we’re excited to keep exploring by collaborating and innovating alongside partners across the city.

As we prepare for the 2024-2025 school year, we’re excited to share this year’s governance chart! Our annual infographic offers a clear snapshot of all public schools in New Orleans, including a notable update - NOLA-PS will run its first direct-run traditional public school since 2019.

The chart shows the structure of our unique K-12 system, listing schools by charter operators and governing authorities, with grade levels included.

Explore the full chart by visiting the link in our bio. We hope this visual guide helps our community navigate the ever-evolving educational landscape of New Orleans. If you have any questions or would like a printed copy of the chart, please contact Vincent Rossmeier at [email protected].

Wishing everyone a great start to the new school year!

Enjoying one final team meeting with the incredible Trellis team! 🌟 It’s been an amazing journey, and we’re grateful for all the achievements and memories we’ve shared. Trellis will soon be joining Rivet School and will be able to expand the college experience to more students and communities across Louisiana and the Gulf South. We will surely miss our Trellis team and are excited for the great work they will continue to do.
