If you haven't talked to the dietitians at your treatment center it's a great opportunity to learn about healthy eating. We love the dietitians we work with they are amazing. Great job Jessica and Sarah St. Tammany Cancer Center
🎙️ New year, new you? We’ve all heard it but let’s be real, it’s not always that simple.
Now that the new year is in full swing (and those resolutions have been seriously tested), we’re digging into what actually works when it comes to nutrition. In this episode, STHS clinical dietitians and friends of the show Jessica Greer and Sarah Brignac help us separate nutrition fact vs. fiction, breaking down popular diets, what’s worth trying and what deserves a healthy dose of skepticism.

So sweet, while honoring the memory of Crystal's late husband Patrick Lyons, Jace who had just rung his bell was asked to come light the tree❤️ This was a very emotional night for everyone honoring our friends and family who are going through cancer treatment, holding on to the memory of those we have lost through out the years and miss dearly. "Lights for Life" Thank you Medical Center for allowing CAN-Cer Vive Washington Parish, La. to hold such an amazing night of peace for our Washington Parish 🧡 friends
✨ Lights for Life Event ✨
On December 22, we gathered together for a heartfelt evening to honor and remember loved ones touched by cancer and those we deeply miss during the holidays. The centerpiece of the event was lighting our beautifully adorned Christmas tree, decorated with cards bearing the names of those we hold close in our hearts. A memorial balloon release was also a highlight of the evening.
This year’s tree was dedicated to a remarkable man; Patrick Lyons, whose legacy continues to inspire us. The lighting ceremony was led by his loving wife, Crystal Lyons and a courageous young man, Jase Adams a cancer survivor—a powerful reminder of strength, hope, and the enduring spirit of community.
Thank you to everyone who joined us in making this event so meaningful. Your presence and support help keep the light of love and remembrance shining bright.
đź’ś Together, we honor. Together, we remember. Together, we fight.

Everyone at Cancer Association of Louisiana and Breastoration are so very excited and appreciative that Louisiana Blue and friends were able to attend our night!
🎀 Blue Goes Pink for Powerful Healing Journeys! 🎀 Our Louisiana Blue team was proud to attend Galerie de Galatoire’s Goes Pink, an exquisite night dedicated to raising awareness and funds for breast cancer patients across Louisiana. 💗 This event directly supports patients through Breastoration, a vital program under the Cancer Association of Louisiana that advocates for patients’ rights and provides essential financial assistance for reconstructive surgeries following mastectomies. 🙌
We’re honored to stand with survivors and supporters—and to champion women’s healing journeys.
