Operation Big Bookbag is one of our national service initiatives, designed to ensure that students in our community have the tools they need to thrive in the classroom. From school supplies and backpacks to words of encouragement, this program is about more than just giving out materials it’s about investing in the future of our youth. 🎒💛💙💛💙

This summer, the ladies of ✨The Outstanding Omicron Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated ✨continued to make an impact through excellence, growth, and service.

Soror Aaliyah Evans had the privilege of completing three active-duty assignments, gaining valuable experience while proudly serving her country. Her assignments took her to Virginia, Baltimore, and New York for Fleet Week⚓️, where each opportunity allowed her to strengthen her skills, experience different aspects of military service, and grow both personally and professionally.

This summer, the ladies of ✨The Outstanding Omicron Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated ✨continued to make an impact through excellence, growth, and service. 💛💙

Soror Sonse’rae Fuery had the opportunity to gain valuable professional experience through her internship with StruggleBeardBakery, working in social media and press relations. Through this experience, she had the privilege of visiting WGN in Chicago, capturing content throughout the city, and expanding her skills in media 📸 and communications. She also collaborated with HBCU advocate Tevon Blair and VoteHBCU to support the Chicago HBCU Trunk Party, helping encourage Chicago-bred students to recognize and exercise their voting power🗳️.

We are proud to celebrate her accomplishments! 💛💙

For our 61st Boulé ✨ we were glad to have our delegates Soror Akodu & Soror Evans proudly representing Omicron Chapter.Highlights included attending plenary, taking notes to bring valuable information back to our chapter, participating in community service, attending the Tea Party, and meeting our Grand Basileus and Anti-Basileus. We return inspired, informed, and ready to continue serving with excellence.💙💛💙💛
