Before I became Ms. D, I was a little girl from St. Louis with a mother who believed that education was my passport to possibility. Her unwavering dedication didnβt just shape my future it helped change the trajectory of our entire family.
That belief carried me from classrooms to community organizing, social justice advocacy, and opportunities to learn alongside inspiring leaders. Each experience taught me something new, strengthened my purpose, and ultimately led me to build a school of my own.
Today, Iβm proud of more than just the school weβve built. Iβm proud of every studentβs growth, every grant secured to sustain our mission, every career opportunity created, and most importantly, every family weβve had the privilege to serve.
Iβm forever grateful for the students who have shaped me along the way, the community that continues to believe in this vision, and the two little girls who inspired this beautiful chapter of my life.
Educator. Advocate. Mother. Founder.
Still learning. Still growing. Still building.
This Bossβs Day, Iβm inviting you to get to know the heart behind ASE Learning Academy. Swipe through *some* of my journey and be sure to stay until the end for the sweetest little voices that make it all worthwhile. πβ€οΈ
