My spiritual journey began many years ago when Crescent City Conjure wasn’t even a thought. The passion for magic and spirituality has always been a constant source of strength in my life and through the years I’ve used many store-bought oils, incense, washes, and curios to support that work.

I’ve always strived to push myself further and further in my personal practice and as a part of that commitment, I began to create my own oils, candles, and incense instead of going to the botanica or witch shop. While making my own products using real spiritual and magical principles I began to wonder how many of the products I’ve used went through the same process that I did, the truth is that not many do.

I started to ask more questions when I did go shopping for spiritual tools and I learned that many of them are mass produced and even the people selling them don’t know what’s in them. The ingredients and recipe of what you are using in your work are extremely important; it can be the difference between a successful working and a working that just falls flat.

When I really thought about the amount of misinformation and poorly constructed products on the market it made me upset and I decided that I was going to create and offer the real thing. That was the seed that would eventually become Crescent City Conjure.

Crescent City Conjure began in 2015 as a love letter to the spiritual community. I promised to provide authentically made products that practitioners could use in their own work. More than selling oils, candles, and gris-gris I promised to maintain a strong connection with real workers and to give them a safe space to express themselves.

I quickly learned that practitioners of hoodoo and witchcraft weren’t the only ones that were interested in what I had to offer. People from all walks of life and from around the world expressed interest in what I was doing and I realized that I had to educate those seekers.

I answered that call by providing classes and resources that people who were completely unfamiliar with this work could learn from.
