Last Wednesday marked the final day of Band Camp.
Before the Drum Majors were picked, we got one final practice in at Tad Gormley. One last time to clean it up. One last time to get the reps in.
Proper preparation prevents poor performance. So we don’t do just enough—we stay overprepared.
Camp is over.
The work isn’t.

A moment to pause before the work begins.
Our 2026 Drum Majors, “The Trinity,” visited Blessed Trinity Church to be prayed over as they step into the responsibility of leading the Marching 100.
Leadership is a calling.
And those called to lead should be covered.
We’re grateful for the prayers, the guidance, and the blessing over these young men as they prepare to take the field.

Long before the podium, the salute, or the title of Drum Major, true leaders are the ones who serve, encourage, and set the standard when no one is watching. They lead through consistency, humility, and the example they set for those around them.
Today, we’re proud to announce the student leaders who will help guide the St. Augustine Marching 100 this season. Congratulations to our new Drum Majors! Your title reflects the leadership you’ve already demonstrated, and we can’t wait to see how you’ll continue to inspire our band family.
