Paint, creativity, and a whole lot of fun! 🎨
Andrew Wilson Summer Camp scholars had the chance to bring a special artwork created just for this year’s campers to life with the help of Jerin “Jerk” Beasley. 👏
Soon enough, the room was filled with paint, smiles, and creativity as campers, teachers, and interns all joined in on the fun. 🖼️

Alice Harte Summer Camp scholars got a special visit from Acadian Ambulance, where they had the chance to tour an ambulance, learn basic CPR skills, and hear from the professionals who help keep our communities safe every day. 👏
From exploring the equipment inside the ambulance to learning about careers in emergency medical services, students got a firsthand look at what it takes to answer the call when people need help most. ✨

You don’t have to travel far to find an adventure! 🐊
For their first summer camp field trip, Alice Harte scholars headed out on a swamp tour to explore one of the most unique ecosystems right in our own backyard. 🌿
Thanks to the amazing boat captains at Jean Lafitte Swamp Tour, students got an up-close look at alligators and other wildlife native to Louisiana while learning more about the environment that makes our state so special. ✨
From spotting wildlife to cruising through the bayou, it was a day full of fun and discovery. ❤️
