Anchors aweigh! ⚓🇺🇸

Our Easterseals Louisiana Chartwell Center students and teachers had a wonderful time at the Riverwalk, meeting sailors during Sail 250's stop in New Orleans. As the city kicked off this nationwide celebration of America's 250th anniversary, our students had the opportunity to experience a unique piece of history in the city we call home.

We were proud to be a small part of this exciting celebration and grateful for the chance to create meaningful memories with our students along the way. 💙✨

What an impactful afternoon at the Pathway to Independence Open House 🌱🎉

We are incredibly grateful for the turnout of parents, community partners, supporters, and families who joined us to explore the new Thalia Street expansion and learn more about the future of independent living opportunities for adults with autism.

This Open House marked an exciting new chapter for the Easterseals Louisiana Chartwell Center as we continue expanding opportunities for high school-age and adult students with autism and their families throughout our community.

A special thank you to our dedicated parents and staff who worked tirelessly to help prepare the new home for this meaningful milestone 💚

The ESL Chartwell Center community garden continues to show just how powerful hands-on learning can be 🌿

With each visit, students are not only caring for the garden, but also building confidence, independence, and everyday life skills that continue to grow far beyond the classroom. ✨

Music therapy is a powerful foundation for growth at the ESL Chartwell Center. 🎹💙

For individuals with autism, music can support communication, emotional expression, and sensory regulation.

Safe to say, the piano keys are doing more than making music. ✨

Still thinking about the fun at French Quarter Festivals, Inc🎷✨

Our Explorer (high school age) and Path (adult age) students had an amazing time enjoying the music, food, and vibrant culture of New Orleans. There’s nothing like the city’s energy to welcome the sunny season. 💙
