Forty Five Privateers Take Part in Spring Commencement Ceremonies - University of New Orleans Athletics NEW ORLEANS — The University of New Orleans athletic department is proud to announce that 45 former and current student-athletes and staff members were conferred degrees by University President Dr. Kathy Johnson on Friday morning at Lakefront Arena.

We would like to thank everyone who was a part of our annual EmpowHer event yesterday! Also a special thank you to our panelists who left words of wisdom for our women's student-athletes!

32 Student-Athletes Between Volleyball and Cross Country Make Southland Commissioner's List - University of New Orleans Athletics The New Orleans Privateers cross country and volleyball teams had a lot of representation through a strong showing in the classroom in the fall semester. A total of 32 student-athletes between both sports earned a spot on the Southland Fall Commissioner's List.

Don't forgot to get your tickets for the Southwest Shootout on Oct. 18th! We host Sacramento State at UNO Lakefront Arena. Tipoff at 1 p.m!
