🛒📚 Welcome to Richard Grocery! 👩‍🏫✨

With an itemized grocery list in hand, scholars had to calculate their cash due and cash left over before officially completing their training. And after passing the lesson, they were HIRED! 🎉

Each new “employee” received a certificate of completion AND a special bonus: a FREE Raising Cane’s Kids Meal coupon! 🍗❤️

Learning, calculating, and getting hired... just another day at Richard Grocery! 🛒✨

So many snack personalities. 🍿🍫🍪

We joined in on the viral Snack Trend! Our Math team brought their favorite snacks, introduced themselves, and added their picks to the mix… and let’s just say, the snack selection did NOT disappoint. 😂.

A peek inside a Compass Circles session at Harriet Tubman Blue! 💙🌙

Our Social Emotional Program, Compass, includes Compass Circles that are designed to strengthen trust, belonging, and support within school communities. Part of the training for teachers includes participating in the circles they will then lead with scholars. The circle experience is filled with meaningful conversation, reflection, and growth. In this recap, hear from staff members as they share real takeaways from the experience and what this work means for our school community moving forward.

We are excited to continue building spaces where both scholars and staff feel seen, supported, and connected.

🎺 Learning the notes, building the foundation, and preparing for a year full of performances!

Our scholars are putting in the work during band class as they learn, practice, and grow together while making space for creativity, expression, and the joy of music throughout their school day. 🎶💙

The best performances start with preparation!
