How are we feeling, Tiger Fans?
At some point this season I think it might be in our best health, all of us, to go see a cardiologist and make sure we haven't had too much damage from watching our Tiger football team this fall. Through every bit of stress, though, we got another win against those Louisville birds with weird teeth.
The offense took another baby step forward and our defense stepped up when needed, but it wasn't without more injuries to our squad. With the win, though, we still have a shot to make it to the ACC Championship Game and defend our title.
This weekend, we've got what some people call a "Get Right" game against one of the worst teams in all of college football, the UConn Huskies. Ideally, we'll get to see starters, backups, and third string players get live reps against someone in a different uniform for the first time in a while. I'm expecting to see big numbers from the offense that we've grown used to seeing over the past 7+ years and also a defense that has the capability to completely shut out weaker opponents.
This weekend, we'll be back at Fat Harry's in the back room cheering on our Tigers. Last week's email unfortunately did not get sent out through the system in time to let folks know that we let the Kentucky and LSU/Bama fans take the back room, but we're back this weekend.
Who: Clemson vs. UConn
Where: Fat Harry's (4330 St. Charles Avenue) and also Death Valley, Clemson, SC
When: 11:00 am
As always, Come Early, Stay Late, and Cheer Loud!

Hey folks, sorry the email didnβt get out in time but weβre graciously loaning the back room at Fats to the Kentucky and LSU/Bama folks this evening. Feel free to still go but weβre letting them have the back room.
Go Tigers! Beat the weird-toothed Cardinals!
Letβs go Tigers! CU @ Fat Harry's at 6:30 for kickoff vs. Boston College!
Fight like hell, damnit! AND WIN!
"When the going gets tough, the tough get going..."
That seems to be a phrase that we deal with a lot, here in South Louisiana. From Hurricanes to Covid, we're a resilient group that bands together to make it through tough times. The past month dealing with Hurricane Ida has been a challenge for all of us, some more than others, but we're hopefully on the upside of things and this weekend's Saints home game at the Dome with a full capacity will surely feel like normalcy.
Clemson Football is experiencing some challenges of its own and we're dealing with the effects of that, as well. For newer fans of this program, losing regular season games is not something that has happened many times over the past 7 years, but for those who have known the program longer, it was something we dealt with frequently before the glory years.
However, with the same mentality and spirit that brings us together after a storm, we'll get together and make it through this season with our heads held high. Clemson football may not be where we expected them to be, but we can still do our part and support them the best way we know how: gathering in the back room at Fat Harry's and cheering them on.
So let's get back on the horse, put the lucky outfit back on, and do whatever other superstitions you've used over time that lead to Clemson victories.
We'll be in the back room at Fat Harry's this Saturday evening, when the Tigers take on Boston College at 6:30 pm in Death Valley. I hope you can join us and enjoy some delicious food from Fat's and the cold beverage of your choice. We'll make it through this, like with everything else, together.
