Congratulations Owen!

Congratulations to the winner of yesterday's Crowley Agate Hunt's best agate, Owen! It was a tight race, with very little separating the top 3 finds! But Owen's agate (which I wasn't smart enough to get a photo of to show everybody) was truly a spectacular agate! Hopefully I will remember to ask Owen for a picture of it the next time I see him so I can show everybody just how cool it was!

It was a great day yesterday, with hundreds of total agates found! The weather was much more cooperative than during last year's "roast fest". Between the smattering of clouds and perfect water temperature, it was a downright idyllic day for rock hunting!

We're going to try to select the date for next year's trip a little sooner than we did this year, so more people will be able to join. Although the almost 40 people we had this year made for a great group that went on this year's trip!

So another year is in the books, and now we all get to look forward to next year's third annual Tubing Crowley Agate Hunt! So get your sifters ready, stock up on sun tan lotion now, and make sure to swing by Mineralogie in the meantime to keep us in business until next year's trip rolls around! 😁

Love to you all!
Charlie and Julie
