Happy Father’s Day to all of the fathers, grandfathers and father figures in the St. George’s community! 💙
We are especially grateful for the many StG parent and faculty/staff fathers who help shape our community as volunteers, guest experts, mentors, coaches and event attendees.
We also hold close in our hearts those who are missing their fathers today or navigating complicated feelings.

Dragon Camp students in Kindergarten through 4th Grade are working with StG Science Department Chair and Robotics Coach Audrey Isaac 🤖☀️
Campers are given challenging tasks that they grapple with, learning how to collaboratively master new concepts. Last week, students charted out driving paths for robots. This week, they’re learning all about robot arm movements.

The last week of school brought plenty of rain—and lots of discovery—for our Early Childhood students. 🌱
The Pre-K3 Dandelions embraced the wet weather on our Milan Street playground by cooking in the mud kitchen, exploring in planters made for digging, sketching observational drawings and planting seeds for the Learning Garden.
Even wet weather can be rich with opportunities to develop curiosity, creativity, fine motor skills and an appreciation for the natural world. Sometimes, a rainy day is exactly what we all need!

There may have been certificates, songs and end-of-year portfolios, but our Pre-K4 Closing Ceremony is about so much more than the end of a school year. It’s a celebration of growth.
Each student received a personalized certificate featuring three adjectives that capture who they are as learners, friends and members of our community — words like curious, joyful, loving, cooperative, dazzling and fearless.
One of the most memorable moments of the ceremony was the debut of a new St. George’s song, created by Early Childhood School Counselor Lili Maki. More than a performance, it served as a reflection of the values our students have practiced throughout the year:
St. George’s Dragons never give up; we keep trying.
St. George’s Dragons do what’s right and tell the truth.
St. George’s Dragons know everyone’s special and spread kindness.
St. George’s Dragons notice others and help our friends.
As our Early Childhood graduates prepare to take the next step into Lower School, we couldn’t imagine a better message to carry with them.
We are so proud of the Class of 2035! 💙

Before yesterday evening’s graduation ceremony and its heartfelt remarks, there were the pre-event moments that said just as much.
Tying ties. Fixing collars. Taking selfies. Practicing speeches. Shared laughter. Formal portraits. Encouraging one another.
These small snapshots from before graduation reflect what makes the Class of 2026 so special: friendship, support and a true feeling of community.

Yesterday’s 8th Grade Recognition Rally celebrated the Class of 2026 with more high fives and smiles than we can count! 💙🐉
Held on the front lawn, the rally began with our soon-to-be graduates running through a banner held by the cheerleaders before joining Dr. Kreutziger one by one on the portico. There, he shared personal reflections and remarks about each student’s journey at St. George’s—several Dragons since Early Childhood. They were brief glimpses of the meaningful tributes that Dr. K will share at Wednesday’s graduation ceremony at St. George’s Episcopal Church.
As each student’s high school was announced, they took off around the lawn to music of their choosing, high fiving classmates, Kindergarten buddies, parents, faculty and staff along the way. The celebration was filled with joy, StG pride and more than a few emotional moments.
While 8th graders Caroline and John weren’t able to be at school yesterday, they were honored in spirit, and we proudly celebrated their upcoming matriculation to North Atlanta High School.
The Recognition Rally was a beautiful celebration of a class that has left its mark on St. George’s in countless ways!

This year’s 4th Grade Play, “How to Interact with Human Beings,” brought humor, heart and a cast of unforgettable characters to the stage!
The story followed a ragtag group of superheroes learning lessons in compassion, respect, active listening and friendship with help from an entertaining cast of Starbucks employees, DMV workers, chefs, checkers-playing friends, StG band members, superhero sidekicks and more.
A long-standing St. George’s tradition, the 4th Grade Play is a full musical production that asks students to do more than memorize lines. Students help design and create the set, collaborate as an ensemble and perform for both families and fellow students — building confidence and showcasing personality along the way.
