Fresh ingredients, new skills, and plenty of smiles! 🥕🍅💙

Our 4th grade students at Ashe rolled up their sleeves for a Market-to-Table Experience before summer break! They explored fresh, local foods and worked alongside chefs and FirstLine staff to create a meal from scratch.

The best part? Gathering around the table with friends to enjoy the dishes they prepared themselves. 🧑‍🍳

From learning where food comes from to building confidence in the kitchen, this hands-on experience is a celebration of curiosity, community, and the joy of sharing a great meal together!

Rolling into new experiences! 🍣✨

Our lower school students had an unforgettable day learning the art of hand-rolled sushi from a pro, Chef Greta of !

Our students embraced every moment with curiosity and excitement. Huge thanks to Chef Greta for her continued partnership with ESYNOLA and for bringing such a fun (and delicious!) learning experience to our classrooms. 💜

Earth Day action doesn't stop at our classrooms! ESYNOLA is dedicated to environmental sustainability, through and through. 🌍️💚

Thanks to the efforts of guests and volunteers at An Edible Evening, we composted hundreds of pounds of food waste, plates, and utensils—giving it all a second life with Schmellys Dirt Farm 🌱

Additionally, empty wine bottles were collected by Glass Half Full, where they’ll be transformed into sand to help rebuild Louisiana’s coastline 🌊

This is community-powered care for our planet 💜

Rooted in Action 🌎💚

Our ESY schools are proud to join Kendall Rae Johnson’s Global Earth Day Campaign—taking the pledge to care for plants and animals, reduce waste, support our communities, and protect the world around us 🌱✨

In our gardens and classrooms, that looks like hands in the soil, harvested food on the table, waste back in the ground, and students learning that small actions can grow into big impact.

Be part of it—take the pledge and celebrate with us 🌍💜 https://gamma.app/docs/Kendall-Raes-Global-Earth-Day-2026-Initiative-9xdqntmc5sd0g28?mode=doc

We took the pledge 🌎💚

We’re proud to stand alongside fellow environmental advocates like Kendall Rae Johnson as our schools commit to protecting and celebrating our planet.

From planting seeds and tending gardens to harvesting and sharing meals, our students are learning what it means to be true earth stewards every single day.

Earth Day is April 22, but we’re celebrating all week and carrying that commitment forward all year long. 🌱💜

Join us in making an impact! Take the pledge and be part of Kendall’s Global Earth Day Campaign using the link in our bio.

What a night ✨

An Edible Evening 2026 was everything we hoped for and more! A joyful celebration of 20 years of impact, community, and connection. From incredible food and exquisite sips to the energy on the dance floor, every moment reflected the heart of ESYNOLA.

Because at the center of it all is our mission: connecting students to food, learning, opportunity, and the community that makes it possible.

We’re so grateful to everyone who showed up, showed love, and helped us celebrate this milestone year with intention and joy. 💜

And we’re not done yet… more moments from the evening coming your way soon 📸✨
