National Wildlife Federation is currently accepting applications for graduate student research fellows to inform and strengthen NWF Education and Engagement programs through dedicated research projects.

Fellows receive a $4,750 stipend, play a key role in the development of NWF Education and Engagement Programs and gain valuable career experience and professional development.

Are you ready to dive into groundbreaking research this summer?
The Louisiana Biomedical Research Network (LBRN) is excited to announce that we’re gearing up for the 2026 Summer Research Program! We’re giving our community an early heads-up so you can start planning now.

⚠️ Important: Preliminary Information
The details below are based on previous years and are for reference only. Dates and award amounts are not finalized and are subject to change.
📅 2026 Program Preview (Tentative)
• Target Dates: Late May – Early August 2026
• Eligibility: Undergraduate & Graduate students attending any Louisiana college or university
• Research Locations:
Louisiana State University (Baton Rouge)
LSU Health Sciences Center New Orleans
LSU Health Sciences Center Shreveport
Tulane University School of Medicine
Tulane National Primate Research Center
Or your home campus

🌟 NEW for 2026: Faculty Research Program
In addition to our student tracks, we are launching a Faculty Research Program to support collaborative research and professional development across the LBRN network.

💰 Potential Support (Based on 2025)
• $4,000 – Undergraduate stipends
• $6,000 – Graduate stipends
• Up to $19,000 – Faculty awards (based on scope & budget)
• Housing typically provided if required/available

✔️ Mark your calendars. Start thinking about your summer research goals.
✔️ Identify a mentor early. A formal letter of recommendation from your selected mentor is required.
✔️ Stay tuned. Official 2026 dates, faculty program details, and application links are coming soon.
