Last month we had the pleasure of hosting an Acadiana Ambulance Tour and Seminar which was facilitated by our amazing career services coordinator Ms. Rayana Fisher. Ms. Sheleve James came and gave the students an interactive experience and tour of an ambulance. The students also got the opportunity to learn about and use some of the medical equipment used by emergency first responders when they're put in the field.

This past month Unitech Training Academy New Orleans had the pleasure of hosting ULDI and it was a huge success. Our topics covered Education and Outcomes, where they learned about the vital role of the Education Team – from the selection and organization of the curriculum we use to show our instructors creatively teach the lessons - and how that teamwork across all positions, leads to the outcomes and possibilities that Unitech provides for our students.
ULDI (Unitech Leadership and Development Institute) was created by our President / CEO, Noah Brandon, as a way to invest in the Unitech Training Academy faculty and staff and build leaders across all of our locations
Think of it as a behind-the-scenes look at Unitech. ULDI class members spend several months learning about different departments, developing leadership skills, and collaborating with colleagues from across Louisiana.

Helannie, My'Keisha and Kayelynn are doing great and we can't wait to see them crush it during clinicals. Happy Friday!! What better way to wrap up the week than by celebrating our students who had made the Presidents Honor Roll, Banner Roll, and Perfect Attendance for last month?! Our Campus president Terell Briggs, and Director of Education Berta Jefferson, took photos with our honors students in front of our brand-new wall installation.

We also had a ring out ceremony as well where our students who have completed their coursework got to ring the bell 🔔as we wish them a farewell as they head off to clinicals!

We couldn't let the day go by without giving a recap of a special event held here at Unitech Training Academy’s New Orleans Campus! Last Thursday we hosted our official ribbon cutting ceremony for our new campus here in NOLA. We just wanted to extend the biggest thank you to our amazing faculty, staff, students, the New Orleans Chamber of Commerce, students and guest speakers, our contractors and property management team that made our campus come to life, and partners who keep our campus connected to the community. Thank you to everyone who attended, you guys made the event a huge success. More photos to come!

Career Development Coach Rayana Fisher and Enrollment Coordinator Krystal Blatcher attended the Global Black Economic Forum Job Fair hosted by JOB1 NOLA during the Essence Festival, connecting with employers and community leaders to support career growth and workforce development. It was a great weekend of building connections and creating opportunities for our Unitech New Orleans campus!
