Registration for the spring 2017 and summer 2017 sessions begins on November 2nd. Although registration (enrollment) begins then, that doesn’t mean everyone gets to register for classes right away. In your WebStar account, on the right hand side of your landing page, you will see the box below. It will list the specific date and time that you can begin enrolling in classes.

If you haven't done so already, schedule your advising appointment.

The University of New Orleans is pleased to announce that the Continuing Student Scholarship application process will be open from September 14, 2016 to midnight October 7, 2016. All continuing UNO students may apply. Here is some useful information.

1. How will I know when the application is available? You will be notified via an email on or about September 14, 2016 of the application’s availability. There will be a URL link you may access directly or you may go to the UNO Financial Aid website, where there will also be a link. Late submissions will not be accepted.

2. Who makes the scholarship determinations? Each College will determine the recipients of scholarship awards. For more information, contact your College.

3. Will this be competitive? Yes. You will be competing for scholarships against anyone in the pool of applicants from within your College.

4. How much money is available? Awards will not exceed $1500 per person. Awards are for the Spring 2017 semester only.

5. What can you do to prepare? Awards are both merit and needs based. Therefore, it is imperative you establish need based on your 2016-17 FAFSA on file with the Department of Education. Please visit the UNO Financial Aid website if you need additional information regarding the FAFSA. Merit will be based on your past academic performance.

For additional information, please contact your College regarding their award process.
