CPS is the hub for community engagement at Tulane, offering internships, service learning, leadership opportunities, community engaged scholarship & more!
The Center for Public Service at Tulane University was established in 2006 as part of the university’s Renewal Plan, instituted after Hurricane Katrina. The Center supports a university curriculum and research agenda by uniting academics and action, classroom and communities through which students, faculty, and community partners dedicate themselves to the transformation of civic life.

🤝 Research in action.🤝
Last week, the Research Partnership & Funding Fair brought together Tulane faculty, grad students, and over 50 local and regional organizations to spark new research collaborations ⚡️and funding opportunities 💲
💡Hosted as part of TRICS (Tulane Research, Innovation, and Creativity Summit), the event created space to connect across sectors, build meaningful partnerships, and think creatively about the impact of research in our communities. It also highlighted research funding resources and regional funding opportunities to support this work 💡
👏Thank you to our co-organizers: the Tulane Office of Research, the School of Social Work, the Center for Public Service, the Office of Academic Excellence and Opportunity, and the Office of Government Relations, as well as to all of the amazing community organizations, faculty, staff, and graduate students who joined us and made it all possible 👏
✨ New connections were made, ideas were shared, and research collaborations were sparked that will have lasting impact ✨
