Tulane University Center for Public Service CPS is the hub for community engagement at Tulane, offering internships, service learning, leadership opportunities, community engaged scholarship & more!

The Center for Public Service at Tulane University was established in 2006 as part of the university’s Renewal Plan, instituted after Hurricane Katrina. The Center supports a university curriculum and research agenda by uniting academics and action, classroom and communities through which students, faculty, and community partners dedicate themselves to the transformation of civic life.

As we look back on 20 years since the founding of the Center for Public Service (CPS), two decades of unforgettable collaborations across New Orleans come to mind.

We have much to celebrate and have organized a series of events over WAVE Weekend for all to attend parents, alumni, students and Tulane and New Orleans community members alike.

We hope you’ll join us. Visit the WAVE Weekend website for more information on these events, and sign up to volunteer for the Afternoon of Service!
