Here’s my honest experience with family prayer time as a new mom.
It’s no where near what I thought it would look like. There’s a whole lot of distractions, interruptions and broken sentences. I can’t say I “feel” the Holy Spirit move, but I practice trusting in the process.
Sometimes it feels like a chore to gather us all together to make time for Jesus, but we try and do it anyway.
And you know what? I believe this is exactly what brings a smile to Jesus’ face. Seeing us try our best, offer simple words of prayer, and help our baby girl learn the importance of prayer and time as a family.
The hope for this new year family reflection guide? To help your family find your own unique rhythm of prayer time, rooted in the art of music and putting Christ at the center.
It doesn’t need to be perfect. It just requires us to try even when we don’t want to. And that right there is the greatest form of Love we could show our Lord and lead by example for our families.
Will you join us this new year and try again?

The joy of the Lord is our strength, and our little ones remind us how to live it. 🕯️💛
As a new mom and piano teacher, I’m blown away by the pure joy kids bring into every season. Jesus tells us to become like children, and this week I’m taking that to heart as we celebrate Gaudete (the 3rd week of Advent) and choose joy together.
Introducing our newest beginner-friendly piano piece: “The Joy of the Lord” is simple, singable, and based off of Nehemiah 8:10.
Imagine your student ending practice with a smile because the last thing they played was joyful worship. 🎹✨

Today is a special day because we celebrate the Feast of Our Lady of Loreto! 🕊️
As we pray the Litany of Loreto, we ask Mary our Mother, to draw our homes closer to the Holy House, where the Word became flesh. May our families become little domestic churches where Jesus is loved, and may travelers, mothers, and all who seek a home in God find shelter under her mantle.
Our Lady of Loreto, pray for us.
Share with a mama who needs Mary’s protection and gentle love, today.

This weekend, Loreto House Music had it’s Christmas Recital! 🎄It was a beautiful, prayerful, and joy-filled afternoon. All my students worked so hard to prepare their songs and I couldn’t have been more proud of each of them as they got up there and played their songs with so much courage and confidence!
(Especially since our crowd was rather large with parents, grandparents, cousins and friends!)
I was just in awe of the impact music brings to our lives and how so many people were brought together to share in the joy of watching their children take the stage and play what they learned!
Music really can be a form of prayer and worship and yesterday gave me a glimpse of just how special music education can be if you put God at the center. 🎼

In a world that never stops talking, our children desperately need to learn the gift of stillness.
Our newest composition, “Speak To Me”, is a prayerful song written specifically to help children create sacred space in their hearts, quiet the noise around them, and invite Jesus to speak in the stillness through the power of the Holy Spirit.
When your child sits down to practice this song, they’re not just learning notes, they’re learning to listen, to be still, and to recognize Jesus’ voice in the quiet.
This song is perfect for….
🎹 Beginner piano students
🎹 Teaching children contemplative prayer within the movements of the Holy Spirit
Let this song become part of your family’s daily prayer. 💜
