The road from white belt to Black Belt is a epic journey that challenges every person that attempts it. It’s filled with what seems like never ending challenges that demand you to question yourself. To look inside for answers to a 1000 piece puzzle of a rocky landscape. With the guidance of a sensei that never allows you to settle for the “I can’t do it answer”, you navigate the road as it gets more difficult with each step. Just when you think you’ve got it figured out it pushes you to farther. Your focus, confidence, discipline, perseverance, fitness, and belief in yourself are all questioned along the way. What ever you’re facing you will have to confront it to succeed in the quest the become a Black Belt. You can do it, just don’t give up. One difficult step at a time as you learn more about yourself. Confidence builds, fitness rises, mental awareness becomes heightened with each step. Yes you still have questions but you ate also honing the skills to answer them.
