Dear IHSNO Family,

As we enter our final day on campus, we do so with a mix of joy and reflection. This week marks not only the official end of the 2024-2025 school year but also the closing chapter of IHSNO’s journey.

This school has been a special place for so many. Over the years, IHSNO has been a space of learning, support, friendship, and growth. It has been a place where students discovered their strengths, overcame challenges, built lasting relationships, and prepared for the future. For our staff and faculty, it has been an honor to walk alongside your children through these important years.

Though it is bittersweet to say goodbye, we do so with pride in all that we’ve accomplished together. The memories we’ve made—the laughter, the milestones, the lessons—will live on in each of us.

We thank you for being part of the IHSNO community. Your support and trust over the years have meant everything.

Wishing you all a bright path forward.

With gratitude and care,

Dr. Berger
CEO and Head of School

As we wrap up May and our Class of 2025 spotlights, we wanted to share an excerpt from Dr. Berger’s Commencement Address in honor of our dear Class of 2025, the last graduating class of our beloved IHSNO.

“You are not just graduates but survivors–leaders who have overcome challenges. The world was uncertain from COVID, followed by Hurricane Ida and a campus move. Your high school path was not easy but your excellence and resilience has carried you through.

We say goodbye with immense pride and a deep sense of gratitude. IHSNO may be closing its doors but your journey is just beginning. The world is waiting for the incredible impact that you will make. Carry the spirit of IHSNO with you wherever you go. You are IHSNO’s legacy and the future is yours.”

Congratulations to our Class of 2025. We are so immensely proud of you and can’t wait to see where your journey leads you. 💚💙

We spy Senior Panther Dani M!! Thanks, H&M and LAPCS for your generosity and support!!

We were **thrilled** to have H&M as a sponsor for our first annual Celebration of Excellence Luncheon! Our goal with this event was to celebrate the best and brightest of New Orleans' public high school seniors, and they were so excited to each receive a $75 gift card from H&M. Go forth and stock up on college fits. (Or whatever the kids are saying these days!)

Thank you also to for always looking out for the NOLA community!

Our Parent Alert Conferences will take place on Wednesday, May 7, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. This is a vital time for parents and guardians to review their student’s progress report, which will be issued during the conferences. Parents should visit their student’s advisory teacher to retrieve the progress report. Should parents need to speak with a subject teacher about a student’s progress, we encourage them to visit the teacher’s classroom on Wednesday. We look forward to seeing you there. If you are unable to attend, please contact your student’s advisory teacher for the progress report and your student’s teachers for updates.
