Our 1st grade Dragon Camp students have thoroughly enjoyed the STEM goals set forth by their teachers and the associated activities! Who wouldn’t enjoy a visit from a leopard gecko, a nature walk collage and marshmallow towers? (Can adults take a break from work and go back to camp, please?) We can’t wait to see what they do next! ☀️💙🐉

St. George’s recognizes and celebrates our newest federal holiday, Juneteenth, with our city and nation 💙 On Friday, our rising third grade Dragon Camp students watched a BrainPOP video about this significant day when all Americans became free. They talked about its origins and aftermath, as well as how families celebrate. We hope that they will remember the creation of this federal holiday in the future and associate it with their summer before third grade! Welcome to Dragon Camp 💙🐉 We were so excited to see our campers today on this first day of . From getting to know our classmates to water play and other outside activities to some air-conditioned moments of calm with books and art materials, everyone had a fantastic day... and we cannot wait to do it all again tomorrow ☀️ See you in the morning, Dragons!

We are so excited to be in week 2 of our first session of Dragon Care! The kids are having a fantastic time, staying safe with our daily health check-in process and other measures, including purposeful and small student groupings that do not mix with other classes, water play with sprinklers but no shared-water pools, and masked adults. An enriching, fun environment and student safety are our top priorities! ☀️💙🐉
