Recycled Glass Experiment, Open Houses on Feb. 25 & 26
Tulane's team researching the suitability of sand created from recycled glass for coastal restoration in collaboration with Glass Half Full is hosting two open houses this month.
The open houses will occur on Friday, Feb. 25 and Saturday, Feb. 26 at 1 p.m. each day. They will last about an hour. The street address is 8333 Maple Street, but the greenhouses is accessed through a fence gate on Cambronne Street. Read about this glass recycling research effort in the Times-Picayune.
