Our second 2020s STAIR Volunteer Spotlight is Phyllis Bardot! She joined us as a volunteer last year and has since been a two-time tutor and one of our regular office volunteers. Swipe to hear her thoughts about the program and lessons she's learned over the past year!

As we begin to finalize plans for our Rising Readers Summer Reading Camp, we want to say a huge thank you to the Literacy Foundation and for selecting us as a Summer Reading 2026 Grant Recipient! This grant will help us keep our Rising Readers camp low-barrier and provide more resources for our campers to help them increase their reading levels.

Huge THANK YOU to and everyone who donated and shared the word about our fundraiser! 125 amazing donors raised $16,967, which is just so incredible! We are so excited to be able to use these donations for our summer programming and for supporting our tutors and students over the 2026-2027 school year. We love our STAIR Community -- we couldn't do this work without each and every supporter out there!!

Only about 8 hours left of ! We are over half-way to our goal -- we are so grateful for our STAIR Community!!
