The Sigma Kappa Chapter of the Biology Honor Society at XULA was chartered at Xavier University on M Grace Mary Flickinger, SBS who served as its first advisor.
Beta Beta Beta (TriBeta) was founded in 1922 at Oklahoma City University. It is both an honor and a professional society for students of the biological sciences. The society seeks to encourage scholarly attainment in biological sciences by reserving membership to those who achieve superior academic records. Hey everyone! The Biology Club and TriBeta invites you to come to our guest speaker seminar on Monday, April 4th. Dr. Maureen Wright, XULA alum and USDA ARS SRRC scientist, will be talking about the impact of microbes in agricultural research. The event will be held from 5-6 PM in Room NCF 102 and pizza will be available at 4:45 PM!

On October 24, 2015, TriBeta members volunteered at Boo at the Zoo, which was held at Audubon Zoo. Boo at the Zoo is a Halloween event that allows children to experience a safe, fun Halloween. This event supports Children's Hospital.
