Five Volleyball Student-Athletes Earn Southland All-Academic Honors - University of New Orleans Athletics NEW ORLEANS – Five New Orleans Privateers volleyball players earned a spot on the Southland Conference All-Academic Team that was announced by the conference office on Friday afternoon.

Privateers Fall in Season Finale at Nicholls - University of New Orleans Athletics THIBODAUX, La. – The New Orleans Privateers came back from down early in the third set to take a late lead but could not hold off a final Nicholls charge in a 3-0 (25-20, 25-11, 25-21) loss at Stopher Gym in the regular season finale.

The ladies started a comeback attempt from down 2-0 in the match and nearly pushed a deciding 5th set but fell just short in four.

Privateers' Comeback Attempt Halted in Fourth Set at McNeese - University of New Orleans Athletics LAKE CHARLES, La. – The New Orleans Privateers volleyball team threatened a comeback from a 2-0 deficit but McNeese surged late in the fourth set to secure a 3-1 (25-17, 25-18, 18-25, 25-23) decision on Thursday night at the Townsley Law Arena.

Privateers Finish Regular Season With Road Trips to McNeese, Nicholls - University of New Orleans Athletics NEW ORLEANS – The New Orleans Privateers volleyball team will finish out their regular season campaign with a pair of in-state road matches against McNeese on Tuesday and Nicholls on Thursday. Both matches are scheduled for a 6:30 p.m. start.

Privateers Sweep Home Finale, Snap Lamar's 10-Match Winning Streak - University of New Orleans Athletics NEW ORLEANS – The New Orleans Privateers hit .316 and controlled the action throughout as they defeated the Lamar Cardinals 3-0 (25-17, 25-19, 25-20) on Saturday in the home finale at the Human Performance Center.

The ladies will take on Stephen F. Austin and Lamar this week to close the home slate for the 2025 season.

Austin for Senior Night, Face Lamar to Close Home Slate - University of New Orleans Athletics NEW ORLEANS – The New Orleans Privateers volleyball team will close out their home slate this week when they take on Stephen F. Austin on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. and Lamar on Saturday at 11 a.m.
