Wouldn’t Olandria make the PERFECT guest appearance on a Season 2 of “A Different World”? From her personality to her energy, I could definitely see her fitting right in at Hillman. 🎓🏫

Many of our hearts were heavy as we heard about the devastating news of the beloved legendary actor and producer, Chadwick Boseman. The 43-year-old passed away Aug. 28, 2020.

Mr. Boseman was diagnosed in 2016 and STILL stared in seven movies. As a proud HBCU graduate, in 2018 Mr.
Boseman spoke to the graduating class at his Alma mater, Howard University. The short video shows him speaking on purpose and we were created for a reason. One of his statements was, “Purpose is the essential element of you. It is the reason why you are on the planet at this particular time in history. Your very existence is wrapped up in the things you are here to fulfill.” We can believe that his purpose and passion was acting. The more we saw him, the more we loved how he embodied the characters in every movie. Mr. Boseman played the men of public life while dealing with private pain. We had no clue he was beating such a heavy burden and dealing with this behind closed doors. That only magnified his accomplishments, bringing him closer to the great figures who shoes he worn on film.

He played men who advanced a peoples progress, a trail he helped blaze himself. He stared as several historical figures, such as Jackie Robinson, James Brown, and Thurgood Marshall. In 2018, he played the well known superhero, Black Panther, which made him an international star.

However, he also became a superhero to millions of the children who watch his performance. Many of us remember how proud people were going to see “Blank Panther”, how they dressed, and shouting “Wakanda Forever”. We remember seeing Black Pride and celebrating our culture.

He led the It was more than just the movies but he truly uplifted African Americans and he showed us how to stay true to ourselves. He taught us how to conquer adversity with grace and showed us how strong we really are. He pushed beyond his limits and became inspirational to so many of his fans. Chadwick Boseman not only played icons, but died one too and he will truly be missed. ❤️
