We were thrilled to have Allie Shapiro Dandry speak at last night's Alberto-Culver Lecture! Attendees had an opportunity to rethink their ideas of success, and to learn from Allie's own nonlinear path across business, philanthropy, and community impact.
Allie is the Executive Director of The Shapiro Family Foundation, a family-rooted nonprofit dedicated to fighting hunger, advancing educational access, and empowering local New Orleans communities. 🩵

We are so proud of our senior Newcomb Scholars!! Last week, the Class of 2026 presented their research at the annual Newcomb Scholars Symposium. Projects ranged from an examination of gender quota policies in Senegal to the significance of place and geography in slave narratives in the U.S. South.
The sky is the limit for this group of accomplished researchers, writers and thinkers. We cannot wait to see what they do next!
