The research on Multi-Language Learners is specific: teacher-child interaction quality is the missing link in MLL achievement. Not curriculum alone. The back-and-forth exchanges between teacher and student — the ones that happen dozens of times a day — are where the gap lives and where it gets closed. High-quality interactions have shown an average 20% improvement in student achievement gains within a single academic year.
SESEBA's framework makes that visible. TORSH makes it scalable across every site.
If you're interested in taking a peak, the free PD is still available. If you're supporting MLL populations, or leading a program that is, this is worth your time. 🔗 https://hubs.ly/Q04jd0Rc0
Torsh Inc.
Elevate provider and educator effectiveness with TORSH Talent, a video-based observation platform for in-person, virtual, and hybrid professional development.
Access feedback, data, personalized learning paths, and more with our all-in-one tool. We make Torsh TALENT, an easy to use, video-based observation, feedback and data management platform that gives educators an opportunity to reflect on practice, collaborate with others, measure the effectiveness of instruction, and receive high quality coaching at scale.
You assigned the training. They clicked complete. But did they actually watch it?
TORSH Learning Paths lets you disable skipping and track exact progress — so you know your team saw every second that mattered, not just that they got to the end.
See how it works 👇
Honoring those who served this Memorial Day. Grateful for the sacrifices that make this work — and everything else — possible. 🇺🇸

Every child deserves a learning environment built for them — not adapted around them.
That's the work.

We're here at the FPG International Early Childhood Inclusion Institute — and if you're walking these halls, come find us.
We're having real conversations about what it looks like to build coaching and observation infrastructure that actually supports inclusive practice at scale. If you're working in Part C or leading state-level early childhood programs, that's exactly who we want to connect with.
We're also giving away a sage green Kindle. 📗 Stop by, say hello, and get entered to win.
Drop a comment or DM us if you want to find us.

If someone on your team is manually logging who completed what, tracking hours in a spreadsheet, and sending out certificates one by one — that's time that should be doing something else.
TORSH Learning Paths automatically awards certificates and credit hours — PD, CEUs, Clock Hours, whatever your criteria — the moment a learner qualifies. No follow-up. No chasing. No spreadsheet.
The admin takes care of itself.
Curious what that looks like for your organization? Let's talk. 🔗 https://hubs.ly/Q04h1Hv20
Your data is already in TORSH. The dashboards just make it make sense.
In our last Power Hour, Will walked through how the visual reporting tools turn activity into something you can actually act on — domain score averages, video engagement trends, all pre-built.

We're live again today at 1:00 PM CDT — diving into Authoring Learning Paths and taking your questions live. Can't make it? The replay will be available. 🔗 https://hubs.ly/Q04g8Ljb0

Every district right now is being pitched an AI tool. Most of them are being pitched the same one.
The pitch sounds like efficiency: AI summarizes the observation. AI generates the feedback. AI flags the moments worth coaching.
The catch is the catch we've been pushing past for two decades of edtech. A tool that bypasses the coach doesn't build the coach. It builds dependency.
AI is most useful in coaching when it makes the coach faster — not when it removes them. The conversation between coach and teacher is still where growth happens. The shortcut is the part that breaks.
If a tool answers "how do we coach more teachers" with "skip the coaching," it isn't solving the problem. It's renaming it.

We're hitting the road this month — and we'd love to connect in person.
🗓 OpEx 2026 Shared Services Conference | May 13–14 | Minneapolis, MN
🗓 FPG International Early Childhood Inclusion Institute | May 19-21 | Chapel Hill, NC
We'll be there talking about what it looks like when professional learning and coaching actually stick — especially in early childhood programs where the stakes are high and the margins are thin.

Georgia’s universal Pre-K program now meets all 10 quality benchmarks set by the National Institute for Early Education Research — at a scale that reaches the majority of the state’s four-year-olds.
Here’s why “universal” matters: this isn’t a selective program or a pilot. It’s free, full-day pre-K for more than 70,000 four-year-olds — over 53% of Georgia’s children at that age.
That’s the bar—and Georgia met it.
The milestone came down to two concrete changes: capping class sizes at 20 and improving teacher-to-child ratios from 1:11 to 1:10. But behind those numbers is the harder work—making sure educators across a system this large have consistent coaching, ongoing development, and feedback they can actually use.
That’s what doesn’t show up in a benchmark list—but makes the benchmark possible.
We’re proud to support that work.
