This is an excerpt from Keller's book on preaching. He is citing a book written in the late 16th century! We've come full circle. Sermons are meant to unfold the Word of God, not entertain with stories, quips, and jokes. Yes, they should be presented well, including slide decks, anchoring narratives, and good application, but if a sermon is 75% preacher and 25% Scripture (or far less in some I've heard), it is no longer allowing the power of God to do its work through the Word of God.

More "practice" preaching. This time in Costa Rica! Many thanks to Adrian for translating. To be an international university, we must stay connected with the world. NU's administrators and faculty continue to serve the Lord around the world!

They say, "Those who can't do, teach." Well, just for the record, NU professors can do both! Just like everyone else, I try to keep my skills sharp and sermons relevant. And for the record, I don't know sign language, but I wouldn't be able to preach the Word without my hands!

What Is Accreditation? Your Biggest Questions Answered 03/09/2023

This article is an interview with the President of the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). CHEA is the "accreditor of accreditors," so what Dr. Jackson-Hammond says is critically important. It is a great article that affirms (1) the dissolution of "regional" v. "national" accreditation and (2) the "institutional" accrediting status of DEAC, the agency that accredits NationsU.

We are very proud of our professors. Based on the 2021 Course Completion Surveys, 95% of responding students were satisfied with their interactions with their professors, and 97% were pleased with the written feedback they received from the professors on their graded work. NationsU is blessed to have such a great cadre of committed faculty. If you've ever thought about taking college-level Bible courses online but weren't sure about the experience, trust our students when they tell you that NationsU is a great experience.

We are preparing a new course that we hope will be ready and approved soon. As a teaser, here is a link to a video series that will be found in the course. If you have any interest in discipleship, this series of lessons will be time well spent to God's glory.

We are all grieved by our loss at Marty's passing but know she is blessed with her eternal reward for her faithfulness.

May God bless the Lynns and each of us who have a sense of loss at her passing, and may He give us a spirit of praise and thanksgiving for Marty’s life and her victory.
