This is the Highlights from the 2022 Zoo to Do. The Instructor Ensemble performed 4 "New Orleans" related songs. "Cissy Strut" by the Meters, featuring James Murray on Guitar, "They All Ask for You" (the Audubon Zoo song ... yes very appropriate), Louis Armstrong's iconic "What a Wonderful World", and "Mardi Gras Mambo" (Rick on vocals). Matthew Ryan played bass, and Malcolm Perrin drums.

Congratulations to Nathan on being chosen STUDENT OF THE MONTH !!! Nathan takes piano lessons with Mr. Rick and has made very good progress in fairly short time period. Mr. Rick says he can tell that Nathan practices a lot.

Ya'll COME ON OUT ... to another one of our Free Group Guitar Classes, Friday April 6th, 1015 A.M. This one is targeted mostly toward adults of a certain age. So if you are retired and hanging around the house looking for something fun to do on a Friday morning, come on out to Guitar Center at Elmwood. You can bring your own guitar or borrow one of ours. All playing levels are welcome, beginners to advanced.
Here's a blast from the past. From March 31, 2016 ... Rafael, who was one of Mr. Rick's Vocal Students. Mr. Rick was instrumental in helping this talented young man get into NOCCA. Rafael came to Mr. Rick with a list of requirements and recommended audition songs to enter NOCCA, and within a few months of taking lessons at Guitar Center, Rafael was accepted into NOCCA. Another Lessons at G. C. success story!!!
