We will not being having summer camp this week to allow our families and staff to enjoy the holiday. But there is still so much going on in the city this week and here is just a few! 🎇🎆✨

African dance/drumming is a hit with all of our students but especially our elementary school students. This class does more than just allow them to let all their energy out but teaches them to be confident in themselves and their movements. 🪘✨

Even though school is out we want to keep our students mind’s sharp and ready, come the fall.
Our yellow and green groups were working on their addition, multiplication, and sight words with the help of our amazing teachers and volunteers this week.

We take a break from our summer camp content to acknowledge Juneteenth. A day of celebration after 159 years of freedom for African Americans. We celebrate this day and honor the progress that the people before us have made and respect the ways we have to go. Happy Juneteenth to all who observe!

With summer camp starting next week, we were excited to welcome new families, share updates, answer questions, and welcome back a lot of familiar faces at our parent meeting yesterday!!☀️
