This class offers the opportunity to improve your French through extracts of literary texts from classic and contemporary French writers including Audio. This conversation class is center on short text reading and dialogue as well as group discussion through these literary extracts. A very good opportunity to strengthen your ability to converse in a group and to express yours opinions and at the same time re-train your vocabulary and discover or rediscover French literary works

The instructor, Manon Bellet, is a French cinephile who has a real passion for movies. In this course, we watch French language films, examine their directors and actors, view excerpts of the films to analyze the themes and language, and learn vocabulary and expressions related to a specific film and to cinema in general. The course provides a deeper understanding and analysis of French films in a relaxed environment on Zoom.

During the month of February each week Francais à la carte share with you a little story about carnaval tradition in France, today in the city of Menton.
Here an Image from the Lemon party and Carnaval in Menton in the south of France. The Lemon Festival is a traditional festive event which is held every year at the end of winter in the city of Menton. This festival is also called Carnival of Menton.
