Attention all UNO Students, the deadline to pay your Summer Tuition is today, 6/4. Be sure to log into Workday and either clear your Statement Balance or sign up for a Payment Plan.

Sunday is also the last day to adjust your schedule without a Fee. Summer classes start on Monday, 6/8

Just a reminder that Summer 2026 Classes start Monday, 6/8/26.

Be sure to get registered for Summer by 6/7/26 as the Last day of the schedule adjustment period (without fee penalty) is Sunday.

UNO Receives Legacy Gift to Support Earl K. Long Library

The University of New Orleans recently received a generous legacy gift from alumnus Terry A. McCullough, a member of the first graduating class of LSUNO in 1962. The planned estate contribution will support the Earl K. Long Library’s
strategic initiatives, helping enhance library spaces, archival projects and student engagement while honoring McCullough’s lifelong passion for history, education and the University.

Keep UNO Beautiful Receives Grant

Keep UNO Beautiful has received five trash receptacles through the 2025-26 Keep Louisiana Beautiful Trash Receptacle Grant program. The receptacles will be installed near the Earl K. Long
Library, Chemistry Building, Performing Arts Center and Homer H. Hitt Alumni Center. Keep UNO Beautiful will also conduct post-installation litter scans to measure impact. According to Keep Louisiana Beautiful, properly installed and maintained receptacles
can reduce litter in targeted areas by as much as 78%.

Incoming Students Welcomed to Campus for Registration Day

The University welcomed incoming students and their families during Registration Day on May 21 at the University Center. The event included advising and course registration, financial aid
and onboarding support, campus resource and student organization browsing, residence hall tours, and presentations for students and guests. Orientation Leaders, faculty, and staff guided attendees throughout the day as students prepared for the start of the fall semester.
