Louisiana teachers have received a $2,000 stipend and paraprofessionals + school staff have received $1,000 for the past three years. Amendment 3 would make that stipend permanent plus an extra $250 for teachers and $150 for paraprofessionals + school staff. If Amendment 3 fails, dedicated educators will likely get nothing and as a result see our pay decline as a result. Vote YES on 3.
