Loyno Law Summer Spotlight: Kianna Botello, JD '27 ⚖️☀️
Kianna is spending her summer as an intern with the Pro Bono Project through the Gillis Long Poverty Law Center's summer internship program. In her role, she assists with civil legal matters, including wills and successions, divorce pleadings, self-help legal services at Civil District Court, courthouse filings, and records research. She's joined by fellow Loyno Law students Scott Gomez, Emily Jones, and Robert Lester.
"I was drawn to this position because it offers hands-on experience across several areas of law while allowing me to work directly with clients and serve the New Orleans community," Kianna said. "It has been incredibly rewarding to see how legal assistance can help people navigate some of the most important and challenging moments in their lives."
