📢 Excited to announce the launch of some new tools and initiatives to pay forward all the blessings we received to all of you out there continuing the sacred work of improving lives, communities, and environment. All links on our new LinkTree (link in bio):

1️⃣ 🧰 The Living Toolkit is an open-source menu of many of our tools. We offer them so that others may continue using and building upon them.

2️⃣ 📰 Two versions (one abbreviated one full) of an article about our closing and what we can learn from our story to improve outcomes for all young people.

3️⃣ 👂🏼A new initiative inviting our stakeholders (Students, Staff, Families, Board, & Community) to share their stories to add to the many voices writing about education in NOLA right now.

4️⃣ 📜 The slideshow we made that tells the story of education in Bulbancha / NOLA from Indigenous People through the Present

🗓️⛈️ On this 20th commemoration of the tragedy of Hurricane Katrina & the harm done to our communities by so many layers of our own government, we continue to remain hopeful that our best days are ahead of us because of the incredible Living Legends who live beautifully and take care of one another.

🎉 Let's give it up for all of the amazing educators and families who, despite all the hardship, continued to come together to raise our children and nurture the leaders we are worthy and deserving of.
