To Our Electric Community:
Over the past year, we’ve faced significant challenges, including leadership transitions and difficulties in securing sustainable funding. These challenges led to the difficult decision to temporarily pause our programs last year in order to focus on strategically and intentionally restructuring Electric Girls.
As we worked to rebuild, we uncovered financial and operational issues that had gone unnoticed, including overdue tax filings that resulted in the loss of our 501(c)(3) nonprofit status. Our team is committed to being upfront about these setbacks and taking the necessary steps to address them with the support of trusted professionals.
Despite these challenges and disappointments, we are not giving up. We’re actively working to overcome them and aim to build a stronger, more sustainable future for Electric Girls. Our mission remains the same: igniting girls’ curiosity in STEM and building their confidence to lead.
We appreciate you standing by us during this time. Your support means everything, and we will check back in later this year with more updates.
