Today, we’re celebrating Taliyah Nevels, a graduate of John F. Kennedy High School, who secured more than $237,952 in scholarships and earned acceptance into colleges and universities across the country, including Belmont University, Clark Atlanta University, the University of Denver, Mississippi State University, Miles College, the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, and Alabama State University. 🎓✨

Ranked No. 3 in the Top 10 of JFK’s Class of 2026, Taliyah has distinguished herself through academic excellence, dedication, and a commitment to achieving her goals. 🌟This fall, Taliyah will continue her journey at Grambling State University, joining a proud HBCU legacy of excellence, leadership, and opportunity. 💛🖤

Today, we’re celebrating Cole Williams, a graduate of John F. Kennedy High School, who secured more than $717,600 in scholarships and earned acceptance into colleges and universities across the country, including Clark Atlanta University, Morehouse College, Tennessee State University, Georgia State University, LSU, the University of Memphis, Alabama A&M University, and more. 🎓✨

A member of the Top 10 students in JFK’s Class of 2026, Cole has consistently demonstrated academic excellence, determination, and a commitment to achieving his goals. 🌟This fall, Cole will continue his journey at Alabama A&M University, where he will join a proud HBCU tradition of excellence, leadership, and opportunity. 🐾💛

The Class of 2026 has given us so much to celebrate, and we’re not finished sharing their incredible accomplishments. 💙👏🏾

Today, we’re celebrating Jaslynn Mitchell, a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School, who earned an impressive $985,467 in scholarships—a testament to her hard work, dedication, and determination. 🎓✨

Jaslynn’s achievements extend far beyond the classroom. She earned a 26 on the ACT, qualifying for the TOPS Performance Scholarship, graduated from Delgado Community College with an associate’s degree, and earned her real estate license—all while serving as captain of the Booker T. Washington Lions Varsity Cheerleading Team. 📚📣

Jaslynn is continuing her journey with a strong foundation built on leadership, excellence, and ambition. Your drive and commitment to success continue to inspire those around you, and we know your future is filled with limitless possibilities.

Today, we’re celebrating Amare Lewis, a graduate of John F. Kennedy High School, who secured more than $287,356 in scholarships and earned acceptance into colleges and universities across the country, including LSU, Ole Miss, Mississippi State University, the University of North Texas, Jackson State University, the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, Grambling State University, Southern University, Tuskegee University, Lamar University, and more. 🎓✨

A respected leader among his peers, Amare was named John F. Kennedy High School’s Class of 2026 Cougar of the Year—an honor that reflects his character, impact, and commitment to excellence both inside and outside the classroom. 🐾🏆

Now, Amare is headed to Hastings College on a full ride scholarship, where he will continue building on the strong foundation he created at JFK. 🌟
