As we close out our 18 Days of Brilliance campaign, weโre celebrating one final graduate whose hard work, resilience, and determination embody the spirit of the Class of 2026. ๐๐๐พ
Today, weโre celebrating Taliyah Nevels, a graduate of John F. Kennedy High School, who secured more than $237,952 in scholarships and earned acceptance into colleges and universities across the country, including Belmont University, Clark Atlanta University, the University of Denver, Mississippi State University, Miles College, the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, and Alabama State University. ๐โจ
Ranked No. 3 in the Top 10 of JFKโs Class of 2026, Taliyah has distinguished herself through academic excellence, dedication, and a commitment to achieving her goals. ๐This fall, Taliyah will continue her journey at Grambling State University, joining a proud HBCU legacy of excellence, leadership, and opportunity. ๐๐ค

Today, weโre celebrating Jaslynn Mitchell, a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School, who earned an impressive $985,467 in scholarshipsโa testament to her hard work, dedication, and determination. ๐โจ
Jaslynnโs achievements extend far beyond the classroom. She earned a 26 on the ACT, qualifying for the TOPS Performance Scholarship, graduated from Delgado Community College with an associateโs degree, and earned her real estate licenseโall while serving as captain of the Booker T. Washington Lions Varsity Cheerleading Team. ๐๐ฃ
