Together, 222 volunteers collected 358 lbs. of litter and 47 lbs. of recyclables from the Carrollton and Black Pearl neighborhoods!

What a success!! The World Clean Up Day Team wants to give a special thank you for each and every one of you for your participation in World Clean Up Day! We are hiring two Research Assistants, one undergraduate and one graduate student, to work with Dr. Michelle Rossi on a grant-funded research project supported by the Climate Social Science Network (CSSN). The project examines how news media make sense of the food industry and climate obstruction. Students will gain hands-on research experience and develop analytical skills that are valuable in both industry and graduate studies. Each position is 10 hours per week for 16 weeks, with pay of $15/hour for the graduate position and $12/hour for the undergraduate position. Previous research experience is not required. Applications are due Wednesday, September 9, at 11:59 p.m.
