Every season has its traditions. And the energy industry is behind all of them.
In Louisiana, summer looks like snowballs, crawfish boils with family, fishing trips, road trips, and doing whatever it takes to stay cool.
The energy that powers our state helps make those everyday moments possible. It keeps our communities moving, our businesses open, and our families connected.
Because energy isn’t just about what happens at work. It’s part of what makes Louisiana feel like home!

Louisiana should not become the next target for a new wave of climate-related lawsuits.
House Bill 804 is aimed at keeping these claims out of Louisiana courts and creating stronger protections for the industries that support jobs, investment, and economic growth across our state.
Louisiana needs growth, not another round of lawsuit abuse.

Economic impact isn't just measured in dollars. It's measured in the families, businesses, and opportunities built along the way.
For the Robinson family, ExxonMobil has been part of their story for four generations—helping provide stability, healthcare, and the chance to build a life in Baton Rouge. For local business owner Kisha Morris, the company's support helped transform a home-based catering business into a growing source of income for her family.
Behind every statistic are real people whose lives have been shaped by opportunity.

Last week, leaders from across Louisiana gathered at Port Fourchon to celebrate a remarkable achievement: Shell's Mars Platform becoming the first offshore asset in U.S. history to produce 1 billion barrels of oil.
But this milestone means so much more.
It represents decades of hard work from the engineers, offshore crews, mariners, contractors, port workers, suppliers, and countless Louisianians whose skill and dedication helped make it possible. Their expertise helped transform deepwater energy production and continues to power communities across our state and beyond.
Congratulations to Shell and to the thousands of workers who helped write this chapter of Louisiana's energy story! Here's to the next billion.

A simple act of community support can make a big difference!
Shell Norco volunteers spent time with students from Harry M. Hurst Middle School, serving hundreds of hamburgers as the 8th-grade class celebrated the end of the school year and their upcoming transition to high school.
Investing in Louisiana communities isn't just about jobs and industry. It's also about supporting students, families, and the next generation of leaders who will help shape our state's future.
Congratulations to the Class of 2030, and best of luck on the journey ahead!
