Hello. I’m the former president of the law school chapter (2014). It seems like current leadership is not using this page for anything. I am going to delete this page unless I hear it’s being used by the current student chapter by Monday.
For any alums on here there’s a New Orleans lawyer chapter FB page you can join.

We are disappointed that Tulane University would keep dining services open during this dangerous weather, while acknowledging the "closure of schools, child care facilities and roads." A mother and her son already died driving in this cold.
Too often, our food service employees are treated like an afterthought. The reality is that they work erratic hours for low wages with little benefits. The employees are New Orleans natives, mostly women of color.
This is one of the many reasons that poverty, race, and gender are so intertwined.

As ACS president I am extremely proud to share the news of this exciting event, which focuses on the diversity of the Louisiana Judiciary over the past 25 years.
The event will take place January 25 at 6pm, in Room 110 of John Giffen Weinmann Hall (6329 Freret St.), with a reception to follow.
Our board has been working with the Newcomb College Institute since July to make this as successful as possible, and we are honored to partner with many other law student and professional organizations.
This panel will feature our ACS National President Caroline Fredrickson, Chief Justice Bernette Johnson of the Louisiana Supreme Court, Chief Judge Carl Stewart of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, as well as Professor Sally Kinney, Executive Director of Newcomb, and her amazing researcher Heather Johnson.
To register for this momentous event, click on the link below, and feel free to share with colleagues.
Can't wait to see you there!
-Charles
